We would like to keep you informed on our latest services in Canada and on the updated congestion situation at inland CN Rail ramps.

New Inland Service to Chicago, IL

We are pleased to introduce our new NW1 service to Chicago, IL, via rail service. If you are interested in the launch of our new service, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Rail Dwelling in Vancouver

The latest average rail dwell time at DP World Fraser Surrey is 7 days (subject to change).

CN Services Updates

Toronto:

  • Effective on October 11 onwards, TSL’s import/export containers will now be transferred to CN Malport terminal. Its sublocation code remains the same as CN Brampton.

Montreal:

  • Laden storage free time have been reduced from 48 hrs to 24 hrs. For more information on its storage services, please refer to CN’s Optional Services catalogue under CN 9100.

Toronto/Montreal Empty Return Locations

CN has urgently announced that their empty return bookings in Toronto and Montreal has been suspended since Aug 30 and Oct 5 respectively.

Upon negotiations, we are only provided with a limited amount of CN empty return allocation each day. In regard, please reserve your RV and gate appointment as long as slots are still available. If you have any enquiries, please contact vcr.tsleqc@acgishipping.com

TSL will soon announce appropriate detention waiver for the affect shipment.

Vancouver – Coast 2000’s Empty Return Locations
For the empty return locations of different container types & conditions, please refer the to the Coast 2000’s container acceptance page.

Empty return instructions are subject to change based on Coast 2000’s instructions. Therefore, it is recommended that customers should check on Coast 2000’s website before returning any containers.

Gate Charge Updates
Effective on October 1 2022, a Gate Charge of CAD$165/container will be applied to all the Canadian shipments with Vancouver as its final destination.
